Greenwich Fitness was established in 2011 by Matt Wakefield and is a well equipped private studio located just meters from Greenwich Park . We offer an alternative to large commercial gyms, park or home based personal trainers and ‘bootcamp’ style training.
The mission is to deliver high quality personal training that offers the attention and privacy of home personal training but with the equipment options and variety that you would find in a commercial gym. With Dumbells up to 35KG, Olympic bars and plates up to 250kg, cable machines, gymnastic rings, medicine balls, Vipr, TRX, stability balls, battle ropes, treadmill and boxing kit you are sure to find almost everything you might want from a gym.
One-on-one personal training is regarded as being the most effective way of achieving your fitness goals due to the support, motivation and feedback provided by your personal trainer. If you have a fitness, weight loss or health goal then we can help and support you through a personal training plan tailored to you.
After a thorough analysis of your needs and goals, your personal trainer will tailor a programme to your individual requirements and current fitness level. As your fitness and technique progresses your training programme will be adapted so that it constantly challenges your body in new ways.
Physical training alone is rarely the only answer to achieving your fitness goals. Personal training aims to cover all aspects of your life, and our personal trainer will offer you advice and guidance on nutrition and lifestyle factors in addition to the physical training to make you healthier and happier all round.
Start Your Personal Training
If you’d like to start a personal training plan with Greenwich Fitness we will offer you a no obligation consultation lasting 15-20 minutes in which you can discuss your goals, exercise and medical history and current fitness level with our personal trainer. This consultation will be the foundation of your training programme after which we will offer you a complimentary 40 minute training session. You can then decide if Greenwich Fitness is the right place for you to achieve your fitness goals.
After you have enjoyed your first session you can select the personal training package that best suits your goals and your training can begin (All sessions are 1 hour in length):
